First established in 2001, Qualies was restructured in 2012 with a new Board, CEO, and partnership structure, capable of bringing together prime stakeholders for the achievement of a major societal mission spanning innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Chairman of the organisation is Mr. Ali Shamas. In his daily business Mr. Shamas is the CEO of Dhofar Energy. Our vision is an inspired and inclusive society, restored ecosystems spanning now depleted lands as well as waters that are under pressure, as a basis for growth, job creation and future prosperity, for Oman in the regional and global context. Mission Our mission is to engage with stakeholders in skills upgrading and the adoption of new technologies, so as to facilitate the development and implementation of path-breaking solutions that are effective in helping to overcome critical outstanding issues.
